2015          Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science, dissertation: "Political Culture in the Indonesian Parliament: Analyzing Parliamentary Debates on the Regional Parliaments 1999-2009" at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland.
The degree included: teaching, supervising university students, funding/grant applications, and research administration. 

2009    Fellowship (political training) at London School of Economics and Social Sciences, United Kingdom, and working at the House of Lords (with Lord Ahmed of Rotherham). Funded by the British Council (Chevening scholar) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), UK.

2004         Master of International Studies, field of study: International Relations and Asian Politics at the University of Queensland, Australia.
Courses study included: Conflict Resolution, Peace Studies, International Security, Arms Control and Disarmament, Ethics in International Politics, Asian and Australian Politics, Australian Parliamentary, Political Economy Development, Comparative Asian Politics, Civil-military Relations (research paper).

Award: The Dean’s commendation for a high achievement.

1999        Bachelor of Arts, field of study: English Department focusing on Psychological aspects in literature, at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Courses study included: Research Method, History of Arts and Literature, American Studies

Award: The best graduate of the faculty, the highest GPA at the faculty (cum laude predicate).
